We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Manager to join our growing Courier and Logistic Services Business.
Location: Bristol
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £46,000 per annum

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate daily logistics and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for managing transportation, warehousing, inventory control, supplier coordination, and staff supervision to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations. You will monitor KPIs, manage budgets, ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage logistics operations across the supply chain.
- Coordinate transportation, warehousing, delivery schedules and stock control.
- Inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or delays.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers and internal departments.
- Monitor logistics KPIs and prepare performance and improvement reports.
- Ensure compliance, health & safety and quality standard are met.
- Supervise logistics staff and allocate daily operational tasks.
- Manage logistics budgets and negotiate contracts and service costs.
- Coordinate with procurement and production to maintain smooth supply flow.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
